Back Into the Fold

It's hard to be hated by the very ones you love so much,
It's hard to be elated when they let you back in,
Knowing it could knock you off your world again,
It could turn again, and burn again
Just don't think I'm that strong... to play along...
I miss the used-to-be, what-we-had, and the remember-when's?
Do you?.... Did you?.... Would you?.... Could you?......
Just don't let your candle burn away.... light another to light the way....
