Back In the Day

Steps, where are they leading?

When opportunity is fleeting

And our healths slowly retreating

All our ambitions are competing

Weighing out all our priorities

Fitting in with the majorities

Fighting with our insecurities

Can we go back to the simple please?

Back to the times our minds were clear

When there wasn't much for us to fear

When we proudly showed who we held dear

When life was something we could steer

I guess thats now, "back in the day"

We didn't concentrate on lifes decay

When games were something fun to play

When we didn't have to shy away

Lets go back to days of morals

With less bickering and quarrels

Lets create a concious portal

Remembering we're not immortal
