Hilarious! Florida's teachers are suing the governor because they're afraid of catching the virus when schools here open this month. If we had just all "stayed at home" for a month at the beginning of the pandemic, we might be in a lot better shape by now. Hugs, Carolyn

Too true! Seven teachers on O'ahu have already contracted the virus with most schools reporting at least one infection. I think most parents would agree it is better for their child to get a GED than novel coronavirus! Aloha! Rico

Rico, I don't know what the outcome will be, but we just need to pray. My thoughts of the president everything he does is public.. and if people don't see his role modeling is unfit. I wouldn't want any of my son or grandchildren to act like him.

The outcome will be more Trump as he has already provoked a USPS strike for October to ensure mail-in ballots are not counted, and has already stacked the JD with toadies to support endless lawsuits that the election was "illegal" to ensure Trump remains in power! Aloha! Rico

Despite my "controversial" opinions (which ARE backed up by very good and decent holistic MD's who have used hydroxychloroquin for years and who encourage herd immunity), this is a good well written limerick.

I teach on Zoom right now, but if they want me to return to the school to teach my adult ESL students, i have no problem with that! Don't know how Corona would affect me. Except for my weird conditions, I feel super healthy. Old/sick people need to take care. The rest of us need to stop with the panic and use common sense, which includes keeping a strong immune system by breathing the air and not masking the young. Take zinc, vitamin C and D. Stay home if sick. Trump is a jerk but so is Fauci!

Teachers won't die unless they are unhealthy to begin with. We all need to go about our lives with herd immunity. I know many people who suffered through corona like with any flu. yes it was very bad for some of them but they got through it (even without benefits of hydroxycloroquin, which IS sound prevention and is being denied us because of the CDC's word alone) Yet in other countries, it can be bought over counter. It has improved health of many who have used it (when taken at start of virus)

as of now, schools will be opening in new york, which is amazing to me! at a teachers' protest in front on city hall, one teacher held a sign that said, "i can't teach from a body bag." ~ great limerick, rico!

Newspaper today says Trump only believes in winning whatever happens TODAY and has no concern at all for yesterday nor tomorrow, as evidenced by his lack of concern over telling blatant lies. Aloha! Rico

It seems no one knows much about this virus. Think it is to soon to put kids back in school. Depends on areas and what is happening in that area. Have a nice weekend. love phyl

Hawai'i classrooms do not have air conditioning, only window ventilation, whereas Arizona has "Swamp coolers" notorious for Legionnaire's Disease, so location can make an huge difference! Dead teachers can not teach, and dead students can not learn, but live students can always "catch up". Aloha! Rico
