Baboons

Watch out all you kiddies Or I'll bite off your face I'm a nasty baboon It's my favourite taste I'm usually quite cranky Not a happy old soul Chew on dead carcasses Eat cheetahs whole Why am I so ornery It's the baboon's way Reared on the savannas Fight for life each day You'd be cranky too With body odour like this How would you feel If you smelled like dead fish Watch out all you kiddies Or I'll bite you in two I'm a nasty old baboon Doing things baboons do © Jack Ellison 2012

Poor baboons... They'll be lonely at the zoo after people read this... Still you are full of knowledge... smart move.. PS if you like remembering the good old days... A lot of older music albums are on UTube. I put several short cuts to some of Papa's for him...

Already have downloaded a bunch from YouTube! Bobby Darin is one of my favourites from that era. Past away way too soon at 36. Had a heart defect! Guess you'll be heading back home soon... safe trip! Love ya!

You are correct...baboons are mostly vegetarian. But they also eat insects and occasionally prey on fish, shellfish, hares, birds, vervet monkeys, and small antelopes. They can raid human dwellings and in South Africa they have been known to prey on sheep and goats. Now aren't you glad you know me... such a great source of knowledge, thanks to the Internet!
