Ayatollahs

From out of the dark ages of martyrdom you bring the wrong message from this religion of Mohammad that speaks of the love of Allah. A loving Allah would not kill his own people just to control them. Love is the control from the hearts of all people who long for freedom.

Brilliant Sue.The only conclusion to make is that loving gods don't do unloving things.Oddly enough I learned that lesson from watching the documentary 'Jesus Camp' about some intense evangelicals out in Colorodo. They were saying things like 'Harry Potter and all wizards are sinful and will burn in eternal Hell' at which point I figured God would be the one to banish them there and so your lesson applied just as well. Personally my problem with all monotheistic religions is the one you describe

Good Morning Sue, how do you do - Very powerful message in this poem - You know when I was in the hole in Prison I started writing Poetry (you know the story), which taught me what freedom truly is - It is but a frame of mind - When that pen would touch the paper I was no longer in that cell I was free - It was truly an amazing experience - Wonderful poem hon, Merry Christmas and God Bless, mj

From paleontology to politics and now to religious fanaticism, you never run out of exciting subjects. What's next in your writing agenda, Sue, Tiger Woods' travail? Happy holidays. Fred (PS I won't mind if you choose me as your next subject and call me a desert Sheik, just be sure to make me look nice!!! LOL)
