Awhipping
Wind’s a’whipping;
Branches thrashing.
Chairs are flipping;
Teeth are gnashing.
Garbage flying;
Scarves wrapped double.
Those home sighing,
Sweats and stubble.
Wind chill saying
It’s much colder.
Those out paying,
Being bolder.
