Awesome Kid Grandma
I always wanted to be a grandma; not a mom.
Of course, momhood came first, but that was okay
For when it came, I loved it.
I adored reading books to my babies.
Everything they did was wise and clever.
I loved being surrounded by wisdom.
No one is more intelligent than a four-year-old
Unless it is a joyful three-year-old.
I am now a grandma with ten grandchildren,
so, I crossed that off of my bucket list.
My granddaughter Molly wrote a little story about me.
She called me her A.K.G.
Awesome kid grandma.
I love that.
I always wanted to adopt stray dogs.
My husband and I have rescued nineteen of them.
We did not mean to save cats too, but we did.
I never knew I would love cats.
So that is crossed off my bucket list.
The other thing was to become a cartoonist,
a painter, a poet, and a writer.
I have checked those off too.
And I live in the country.
My bucket list is fulfilled.
