Awesome Blossom

The night's impatience sky Twists itself around our earth There, falling stars will fly While the moon proves what it's worth I'm standing in this field, Just waiting for the hour When the sun will rise once more To shine its light, upon this flower Some might ask me why I come each day to view this blossom But if they use My eyes They would see she's simply awesome All I do for her, Is to visit, in my leisure But what she does for me Is fill my eyes and heart with pleasure And if you care to share The blessings that I yield You need to get up early To see the Sun's light Fill this field

Jerry . . . Enjoyed your write here very much!! The gradual progression of your imagery is perfect here as you build out your verses. The last two verses are really great: "To see Sun's light / Fill this field." A "Seven" from me. Very Well-Done. Best Always, Gary
