Away On a Wheelchair
Away on a wheelchair
no fear on his face
my special child triumphs
to win trials’ race.
He zooms for improvement
along growth delight
and surmounts hindrances
to soar midst faith-flight.
By his transport freedom
he moves well with zest
Driving persistently
to reach success crest.
Praying with thanksgiving*
grateful for God’s care
my child sweetly hugs me
to show his love’s share.
*Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
