Away in the Heather
Away in the Heather
The hillside adorns
A day of bright weather
No thistles or thorns
The meadowlark's singing
The willows are dancing
The bluebells are ringing
The bees are romancing
Soft lavender breezes
So gently it hovers
And wantonly teases
A respite for lovers
