Away and Nothings

throwing flowers and grains into the wind
so our metaphors can plant themselves
seasons bring greetings from cycles
we want to be easier to understand
and this is what we have
a contraption of molecular exchange
feeding itself and slowly
building up a resistance to the forces
unseen, that started this conversation
with no intention on making a final decision
welcome to your place in amongst all-containing
un-explainable, where certain facets we depend on
have gotten us comfortable enough to pay no mind
beyond whats necessary, off into the depths
where away, and nothings exist
I marry through arrangement my limits
and am tortured by the existence of envelopes opened
teasing my powers, tempting in what I see
as a navigation and trade of this space-time continuum
I constantly refer to as appreciation
the ghost rode in on a white horse
and I saw the moon eating the suns left overs
and a falcon pulled the sun and moon across the sky
and hawks inspired apathy, purely in the name of silence
now what shall we all believe
when trees make sound when they fall
no matter what.
