Away

Yesterday,
The dark blanketed sky poured down torrents of light
Into my cold, dark, and lifeless night.
A constant stream of rhythmic memories,
And a moment of extraordinary meaning and interesting stories.

Today,
Just when I thought you were around,
To pick me up from the ground,
Because in your arms, love and care is what I found,
And cant exchange that for a pound.

You left me,
Because I’m poor and traveled to an unknown destination,
My life began to wallow in bottomless damnation,
Now, we are miles and miles apart,
And you forgot I built a world for you in my heart.

For you, daily I pray,
Hoping you become great in life but you left me and moved far away.
