Awareness
Awareness
Youth are dying, families crying;
That’s how the drug trade thrives.
Dealers are lying, users are buying—
Lucky to be alive.
Communities mourning, caskets adorning;
A generation is lost.
These drugs synthetic have become epidemic
And who’s counting the cost?
We’ll not be embarrassed, we’ll raise the awareness;
Let’s show them how we feel.
We’ve got to reach them, educate and teach them
And show them this is real.
Our kids are dying, their parents are crying
And still the drug trade thrives.
Help us fight this disease, however you please;
Let’s keep those kids alive!
