Awakening

The sunshine illuminating
Golden honey dripping through the leafy veil
A soft, golden balm spreading across my features
A symphony of serenity envelops me
My feet wade into the silky, slow-moving tide Floating within the supple flow
Taken by the reflection of stillness
Wrapped around the height of withered wisdom
Tall and endless they stand
Drooping branches worn
I hear the crisp, tired leaves fall
Just upon a soothing storm
My conscience awakens
I hold on
