Awaken My Soul

Awaken My Soul
By Rebecca Dominique Morris
Touch me and kiss me with gentle lips
Run my hair through your fingertips
Listen when I’m silent to the words I don’t speak
It’s more than just lust that I seek
Understand me in ways no one else does
Awaken my soul ,let me feel that buzz
Realise I won’t always express how I feel
But also that I’ve only just learnt to heal
Emerge yourself in your feelings embrace the fear and don’t be scared
After All these kind of  things were meant to be shared
Awaken my soul but only if you intend to stay
All I ask is for loyalty and you to not stray
Communicate your needs as my ears are open wide
Allow me to forget all the tears before I’ve cried
Awaken my soul let the passion burn
Embrace me and give to me  that of which my body yearns
Let our body’s intertwine in the dead of night
Let dawn break and it go on until daylight
Awaken my soul , watch the embers burn
Allow me to live , allow me to learn
Give me passion , tell me your desires
Awaken my soul ,set it on fire
Just  like a candle let the flame flicker
Go slow ,then let the pace get quicker
See me bare and fully  unmasked
Awaken my soul , without me having to ask
