Awaken In Flowers

As I wandered through the field
With fragrant scents the flowers yield
I had been left in a state of total bliss and awe.

Carefully then, I walked ahead
Wondrous flowers, my senses fed
Beauty adorned with nature’s hand, flowers all I saw

Ah, there you were upon a bed
Where these flow’rs beautifully led
I saw your radiance and I was therefore set afire

Glad now, I had ventured this day
Finding you there, just where you lay
Gave unto me the passion, the wanting you, desire

I have so traveled far and wide
From my sights you can never hide
I will seek and I will find, in order to have you

Now, my dearest, though in slumber
Heart and I, yes, we did lumber
I will take you, that is what I shall do.

You will come to know the fire
Of your heart, the pure desire
You will then respond and share your love with me

Together we will make our way
In flowers, wake on other days
Beauty from then on, is what we shall ever see.
