Awake Your Art

There's nothing better than exquisite art
sights guaranteed to awake your heart,
Paintings and sculptures, by old masters
depicting love, life, highs and disasters,

landscapes of mountains, trees and rivers
brush strokes, colour, paint visually delivers,
creations that explain our past and futures
sustenance for eyes of appreciative viewers,

sculptures of rich, poor, famous, and biblical 
images of interest, works unknown, mystical,
textures produced by natures own fair hand
figurines carved from Earths ancient woodland,

relaxing music to sooth soul, body and mind
melodic sounds allows us to relax, to rewind,
various compositions that reflects ones mood
pleasurable, capable of changing attitude,

written words that takes us to better places
literature of love, life, death, airs and graces,
open our minds embracing the wonderful arts
nutritious food for the brain, awakes your heart.
