Awake

She walked while I slept in my comfortable place;
she saw things that only exist in Hollywood movies
and dreams, as she walked.
She met other people on the way,
as she walked – people like her. They had a strange bliss
which I thought couldn’t exist in this nasty world.
So many times she tried to wake me,
so that we could walk together in the mysterious journey,
but I refused. “That journey is for the gullible and blind!”
I scornfully told her.
One fine day, my comfortable place was gone. I was drifting
in an empty space, together with other sleepers just like me. The things
we held so dear; our comfortable places,
were all dreams my beloved saw as she walked…..

I really like this. It's so interesting, reminding me of Unamuno's themes or something!
