Awaiting Spring

The New Year started weeks ago;
surprising how fast time can flow-
Mid-February starts next week!
Although the weather's cold and bleak,
soon March designs new hope in sight;
our days will bring more sun and light!
We read those words, “First day of Spring!”
That lovely phrase makes our hearts sing.
