I have read this at least a dozen tumes since you wrote it... I keep coming back to the same thought. Slow and deep breaths are what it keeps making me think of. As its phases shift they're just like lungs moving in and out. Doubt that is what you meant but it is what it makes me feel, I like this one very much! Regards A.S.

I've heard of the 'blood moon'. I like this different view of the moon.

Paige, this poem shimmers like the "swerve" of the moon's light. Very creative word use and images. Blessings to you!

Dear Paige! How hauntingly beautiful! I love how you capture the moon's ethereal light and its fragile connection to our world. The imagery of blood and distance adds a deep, emotional layer. It really makes you think about the weight of existence. Autumn Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

What an incredible haiku this is, dear Paige! I absolutely love the moon theme and how you've infused a melancholic touch here, that feels profound and so artistic. Impeccable imagery and so much has been painted, within just a few words..
