Avadhuta Gita Chapter 4 verse 21

“Never do I have father, mother, family, caste, birth and death. How shall I speak of affection and infatuation? I am free from disease—my form has been extinguished.”

To which dream image should we cling,
in the dance of shadows on earth,
knowing in truth there is no thing,
save heart bubbling in blissful mirth?

We know we’ve walked these streets before,
each time in a different form,
so why then would we keep a score,
when we’re tranquil in every storm?
