Avadhuta Gita Chapter 4 verse 14

“Neither have I conquered the senses nor have I not conquered them. Self-restraint or discipline never occurred to me. Friend, how shall I speak of victory and defeat? I am free from disease - my form has been extinguished.”

Transcending all opposites, as light of Self,
poised in peace in our natural blissful state,
entwined with the whole life flows on by itself,
wherein we are tranquil irrespective of fate.
We are not this decaying organic form
but the epicentre of love’s benign storm,
merging with which we transmute as the bliss flame,
which though has no name, fulfils our life’s aim.
