Avadhuta Gita Chapter 3 verse 46
“Renounce the world in every way. Renounce renunciation in every way. Renounce the poison of renunciation and non-renunciation. The Self is pure, immortal, natural, and immutable.”
Instead of renunciation,
poised in the void of cessation,
seeing the world as but a dream,
is our firm realisation.
Things we sense are not as they seem,
wisps of smoke, a mere thought stream,
wherein we engage for a while,
aware that the Self reigns supreme.
Free from clutches of ego’s guile,
self-aware, we begin to smile,
free floating with effortless ease,
making God’s gift of life worthwhile.
