Avadhuta Gita Chapter 3 verse 42
“I have told thee all that is essential. There is neither thou, nor anything for me or for a great one; nor is there any teacher or disciple. The supreme Reality is natural and exists in Its own way. I am the nectar of Knowledge, homogeneous Existence, like the sky.”
The seeker seeking God does not exist,
is shocking news for our wayward ego,
on discovering it is a bliss mist,
shining as pristine white light, pure like snow.
Feeling limited, we wish to expand,
that a time may come when we feel complete
but the real truth we must understand,
is that as Self we mirror God’s heartbeat.
We cannot attain yet we can become,
the divine spark that births the universe,
as light that lights all lights, the cosmic hum,
dancing in dreams with no need to rehearse.
There is nothing to know, much less to do,
as breath by breath we feel bliss beats renew.
