Autumn's Song

September's song is summer's sigh
Its rhythm rides toward an equinox
Leaves will soon be ready for their aerial ballet

Like a snowflake's swirl, a butterfly's ballet
Autumn's colourful leaves and windy sigh
Bring night and day into equinox

Springtime also enjoys its own equinox
As blooms swirl in a breezy ballet
Nature releases a joyful sigh

Seasons sigh at equinox, each with its own ballet

Hello Joseph, As I read I thought, such structural elegance and thematic grace. What makes your piece work so well is that the formal constraint never feels like a cage, instead, it mirrors the exact cyclical, repeating dance of the seasons themselves. It is fluid, beautifully balanced, and deeply evocative of the changing year. Amen! Blessings, Daniel
