Autumn's Many Hues
Tell, which season would you choose
For I, 'tis autumn's many hues,
Myriads of painted leaves
A kaleidoscope mid sunlit trees,
Appearing from a misty morn
Berries swell 'twixt leaf and thorn,
There upon the woodland floor
Fallen nuts lay by the score,
Gathered up for winter days
When squirrels snuggle up in dreys,
Before winter comes to call
Let us glorify in fall,
For soon enough she'll say goodbye
Giving way, to winter skies.
