Autumn's Goodbye

When green turns to gold
When young turns old
In autumn are trees
Like at the time of harvest
When you see the fields
Aging, with grace
Like sunset in golden haze
Looking enlightened
And thus far more experienced
While the young will eventually
Reach their ripe
The old will struggle to hold
On to the branches of life
Until a barren tree waits for spring
For a new generation to come
Until it's time again to say goodbye
And so I sigh when autumn comes by.
