Autumn's Dream

AUTUMN'S DREAM

If I were the month of Autumn
I know my dream would be
To remain emblazoned on the countryside
In the leaves of every tree

Alas! I must relinquish
My dream to winter's snow
Waiting patiently for Spring time
For more leaves on me to grow
