Autumn’s Dimming NEST

Aunty Autumn shakes legs

pearl is last crumb of raisin bun

         dragged by Anxious Ant into 

                                       dimming N.E.S.T


dimming N.E.S.T is pest

       hungry ants biting sharp

buns are pearls for angry HUNGRY

amber vein imbeds clinging to tree T.R.U.N.K


the Homeless grow anxious

days are shorter nights will be I.C.Y 
 
                           dawns are C.R.I.S.P

we pack away cotton shorts


packing is a chore I want no more

  crisp is biscuits to feed quiet  H U N G R Y

leaves fall thick and       f
                                  A
                              s
                                   T

                  growing on  p  a  u  s  e ~ 
 
RAIN will fall in torrents __________>>
