Autumn's Crown

Fallen leaves upon the ground,
Luxuriously spread and interwound.
Producing a carpet of bedecked Autumn Leaves,
Displaying an image you can't believe.

Rose Dust, Corn Silk, Ruby Red and Dark Green,
Not forgetting Almond Brown, Orange that paint this scene,
This array of colors found in New England towns,
Come together and become Autumn's Crown.

I didn't know you could save other poems. I have been absent from Poetry Soup for the last few years. My husband was ill for three years and passed away in March.
