Autumn-Constanza
As I open the window low
The tune of rustling leaves I hear
Listen footfall of autumn clear.
Scorching summer wind stops to blow
Satin sky emits sapphire lure
Clumps of cloud turn cotton white pure.
Trees absorb autumn color glow
Paint leaves gold as they wilt and fall
To fly away at winter’s call.
Blades of grass in fawn meadow show
Pearly crown of radiant dew
As autumn sky dawns a day new.
In my heart twilight gleam will flow
From hued sky when the sun will set
Autumn’s warmth in winter I’ll get.
As I open the window low
Scorching summer wind stops to blow
Trees absorb autumn color glow
Blades of grass in fawn meadow show
In my heart twilight gleam will flow.
