Autumnal Strain

Clouds from overcast heart rise,
                                And spread-
                 In sombre grey shade,
From horizon to horizon-
Over the clear,blue canvas.
I have yet more to lend!

These icy winds but belong to you
                                            I know.
The daylong whiffle fills my mind;
Do you have more to send?

Will my bones chill?
Does winter linger still?
                Or
Will it rain?
Bring an autumnal strain?

You are a great poet - I don't understand why more people have not yet discovered your wonderful body of work! BRAVO to you! Pandita

Wow!! What a flattering comment...I think I am not discovered because I have not made efforts to discover others and make my presence felt too. I am kind of stuck in routine, though I am trying to write more and may be, will also find time to be more active on this platform. This is a great literary place to learn, grow and groom one's talent
