autumn tiptoes

steps in veiled autumn
rose bushes sad crave for warmth
sprawled leaves create art

nature's spree over
glimmering streaks of light spread
on glorious fields

pumpkin patch dazzles
birds end yearly rendezvous 
time to fly back south
