Autumn Tapestry
AUTUMN TAPESTRY
At the edge of summer the rainy squalls disappear,
soft northern breeze whispers under sky sapphire,
verdant leaves on garden trees wake up to the call,
don the crimson veil before they all wither and fall.
Crystalline dawn creates crown with pearls of dew
on the meadow the grass gleams in the astral hue.
Leaving summer nests in the forest birds fly away,
with fallen fawn foliage the shadows of trees play.
From the horizon behind blue hill cotton clouds fly
like the sailing ship on the serene azure of the sky.
As the cold summer sun sinks in the twilight hours
autumn tapestry I paint in mind with sunset colors.
