Autumn Skies

Autumn skies beckon As ochre intermingles With battleship greys Silhouetted shapes Against the impending bleak Declare summers end http://www.thehighlanderspoems.com/nature-8.php

The imagery is impressive. I transitioned right into fall. Well done.

Love your Autumn double haiku. Great colours aren't they? 'Watercolour painted skies of ochre tinged with grey' is the first line of an autumn poem I wrote a while back. I think it's my favourite season to write about. Thanks for posting your taste of Autumn :)

Excellent double haiku painting clear images of my favorite season. Summer's departure is always welcome here. Love, Carolyn
