Heidi Sands Poet Couplet

Autumn Reverie

Autumn arrives with colors on a scenic pallet
Hanging like jewels sparkling in the sun that is met

Leaves falling, floating, twirling in the air, to the ground
Piled in layers like blankets, woven to be found

The mixture of cool and warmth from autumn settles on
The land we walk and live, where sweet dreams are made upon

Seasons change, but celebration is there to ensue
After colors fall in their flight, under skies of blue

Paint your mind like landscape, with positive thoughts to be
Take the colors with you as an autumn reverie
