Autumn Quintain
Today my walk in the sunshine
was different , but in a nice way.
Colourful trees, except for the pine,
were brightening up the day.
Falling leaves once again at play.
The bright sun of Summer remains,
but not with the seasonal heat,
Instead the cool breeze explains
it's time, for a new season, to greet
as the leaves crunch beneath my feet.
Oh, Autumn, you are so welcome here.
My favourite season of all.
Campfires and hoodies now appear
and Canada geese sound the call,
as we step right into fall.
