Autumn Memories

Autumn filled with wonderful colors
A perfect time for lovers
Even in snow conditions
We follow our fall traditions

Back to school
Looking cool
Homecoming dances
Start romances

Hanging with friends
On them we depend
Doing homework at night
Parents in sight

Baseball playoffs
Taking the day off
Football games
Bonfire and flames

Playing softball at the park
Earlier it gets dark
Walking many a mile
Talking with a smile

Trick or Treat
Up and down the street
Costumes and candy
Drinking warm brandy

Haunted houses
Something pounces
Scary ghosts
Screams in your throat

Memories of autumn past
Wishing it would last
Cuddling to stay warm
As we wait out the storm
