Autumn Magic

Autumn Magic

The winter snow
The summer sun
The spring;
When thawing has begun
To miss these seasons would be tragic
But nothing's quite like autumn magic!
A time when magic's in the air
With pumpkins growing everywhere
Spooky nights and morning chill
A scarecrow standing on the hill
Creeping cat is black as soot
Crunchy leaves are under foot
Harvest moon is shining bright
Shadows fleeting in its light
Enjoy it now; before it's gone
Magic never lasts for long

Windie: You are indeed a real "word smithy". All the sights and sounds put together in a lovely work of art. Thank you for sharing with all of us on the soup. But keep them coming. I've read all three and now I'm out of "stock". oldbuck

Well done, love the rhyme, almost couplets if not for the number of syllables. Welcome to PoetrySoup :)
