Autumn Leaves
Amber regal trees spread forest true
Utopia to reveries welcoming the view.
The gold and orange standing proud and tall
Under the auspices of dying and taking a fall.
Merriment of a springing birth and summer green
Now at the altar, fall leaves sit and glean.
Love of lost summer days bristling in the wind
Ever so young at heart dancing on a twine.
And now the golden memories fade and impasse
Verdant at what was once been, now land in mass.
Eyes of fall reveries soon tear the barren trees
Soon solemnly sit in bereavement of a deep freeze.
