Autumn Leaves
I just can’t believe
What you still mean to me
More colorful than,
The autumn leaves
As they drift into your eyes,
watching so quietly
With the amber in the skies
How relaxed I am,
Breathing with the night
The whispers of love is all I hear
Touching gentle and so near
On the satin of your pearl like skin
Softer than the shadows
From the candle light, I am in
As they slowly disappear
From within
When you were there to try
To understand, all of me
Giving me the best of love
Along an uncertain destiny
Too always be with me
I remember when I see
All the colorful autumn leaves
My eyes watch so silently
as they drift all around me
Everything I see will fall
So soft and slow
With honey in the air
In the wind to blow
To let go of what I fear
I see falling down below
Falling down to disappear
One more graceful tear
I still love you so
