Autumn Leaves
The autumn leaves
Drift by the window
Reminding me that
I swept moments ago
I sweep them all up again
And feel quite pleased
But then more fall down
In the gentle breeze
I could just leave them
Pretend not to care at all
….but it's impossible to ignore them!
When autumn leaves
Start to fall
