Autumn Leaf

Falling
Gliding
Tumbling slowly
Cast adrift to trip and skip
at the wind's will.
Floating, motionless
on air waves.
Tossed in a torrent
of swift surrender,
a last brief shaft of life
that ends quietly
underfoot

By the looks of the exceptional poems I am reading it looks like you all have new ink pens. I wish you all a wonderful week filled with love and inspiration. Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate. Love, Carol

I feel and see and become part of the leaf as it falls because of the descriptiveness of the write. Keep the pen flowing. Sara
