Autumn Fox

Why do you call this slumbering beauty Autumn Fox? Look beyond her just a bit to her north and southeast. See the foxes curled up next to her? She is their hero. She comes in swiftly with a wind that has trees raining. They love it when the leaves are piled up in cozy bed. In scarlets, ambers, browns and yellows. Autumn’s frocks. She slumbers easily, showing them her vulnerability. They feel safe now, in her cooler days, between spring and winter. Fox eyes the exact same amber color as her own. Trusting October and November to provide memories That will help them sleep through the worst days of winter. Autumn Fox with her beautiful autumn reds and browns.
