AUTUMN BREEZE

AUTUMN BREEZE I can feel the Autumn breeze The leaves are changing in some of the trees Beautiful yellow, orange and red All along the sides of the avenue ahead In summer sometimes it was hard to sleep Now the nights are cooler and the sleep is deep Autumn is my favourite time of year The chirping birds are all I can hear The kookaburra’s laughter is very near The sun is shining and the sky is clear Just in time Autumn has arrived I think I will go on a scenic drive I will just meander from here to there Windows down, radio on and the Autumn breeze in my hair.
