Autumn

Blustery autumn day
Takes my breath away
While colours of cinnamon and greens
Melt into the skies
You and I
Walk hand in hand
Living inside each other's eyes...

So pleasurable to be alive this day
Amongst the piles of fallen leaves
our inner children kick up a pile
laughter bringing us to our knees....

Lovely autumn day
Fades into a cool autumn night
And we
Wrapped up safe in each other's arm
Lose the images of daylight's sight

Autumn does have a way of doing this to me too. I especially like the "cinnamon and greens" Great poem! Keep them coming.
