Autumn
Autumn moaning cuddles gold neath shivering trees
Umbels peddling day's new cologne dancing in breeze
Trancelike all day rose the soft quarrelling of bees
Uberty bartering joy on fruit laden leas
Multicolored fairs and ladies pretty to please
Nature bringing me down bended on thankful knees.
Auspicious winds tell tales of honey laden trees
Udders pendulous with the syrup sap of life,
Temperatures chilling honey for freshborn bees
Urgently uttering the flowering of strife
Man is here today and gone tomorrow, time's fife
Note upon note sweetly stirs the changes of life.
