Autumn

The autumn trees are wearing
vibrant crowns of red and gold.
For the winter their preparing
as they shiver from the cold.

As a brisk wind is blowing
fallen leaves lie on the ground.
And my happiness is showing
as I make a crunching sound.

In awe of the season’s ability
as this scene kindly presents
serene feelings of tranquility
with a whiff of Autumn scents.
