I always thought youth was eternal until last May. Now I kind of know better, but I am still bucking it.

You are the philosopher-princess lately.... I was wondering about that 'August' in the title. Cheers, Gershon

Youth is not eternal )) I remember being 7~ saying "I will never grow old."In a greater sense, I never have.! Meaning I have maintained my intellectual freedom and life choices. The body is another matter. Like flowers, we bloom, wither and one day, disappear to another form. Any way..your poem is well written and provokes thought. Panagiota xx

hope and the desire to by young again, both spring eternal for ME. I remember August days sun worshiping. I don't do it any more. Miss those days though. Great reflective poem, Line.
