August Dreams of

August dreams of...softness
Listen to the gentle hush of its breezes flowing through the drying grass
look around at the green trees now past their peak fading in the dimming sun
The late summer is ready to embrace his child of Goldenrod growing tall and ready to bud
August dreams of, the scent of cooling pavement hanging in the evening air
The days growing shorter second by second
With sangria saturated sunsets reflecting off of dragonfly wings as they feast on the brink of night
While youth laments the changing of time
August dreams of letting go.....
